We checked 5 places to buy a real Christmas tree near Rugby, from Cole's on Barby Road to Whilton Locks, for 2026 prices and delivery. Updated November 2026.
Five places sell real Christmas trees in or near Rugby in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with prices, opening hours and delivery. Most people land on Cole’s Christmas Trees, whose yard is on Barby Road about a mile from the town centre; Rugby Garden Centre on the Straight Mile at Frankton; and Whilton Locks Garden Village near Daventry, which also has the nearest ice rink. Every entry was checked against the seller’s own website on 5 November 2026.
We have not bought a tree from any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the seller says it does, with its own prices where it publishes them. None of them had published a 2026 opening date for its trees when we checked except Crocker’s, which opens on 21 November, so check before you drive over.

1. Cole’s Christmas Trees, Barby Road
Cole’s is a family-run business that sells UK-grown Christmas trees and says it plants three new trees for every one it harvests. It has moved to a new yard at Water Tower Farm on Barby Road, about a mile south of the town centre, where it says it has hundreds of trees on display; staff trim each one ready for a stand and net it for the journey home.
It sells Nordmann fir in two grades, Premier and the fuller Deluxe, and Norway spruce. Its site says it is taking orders for 2026 delivery, on a day you choose at checkout, with a text and email time slot on the day.
It does not yet give the date the yard opens this year: the closing note on its home page, “Sunday 21st”, matches December 2025.
Delivery costs £7.50 to every CV21, CV22 and CV23 postcode and to most of the Daventry NN11 area, £12.50 to Kenilworth (CV8), and £15 to Coventry, Leamington and Warwick. The Premier Nordmann page also carries a note quoting 7ft at £80, below the £85 on the size list on the same page, so check the figure at checkout.

The centre has a restaurant with a carvery, an indoor soft play area and free parking, and it runs breakfast and afternoon tea with Santa through December (see our Santa’s grotto guide).

How we chose
We looked for farms, yards, garden centres and delivery services covering Rugby, Dunchurch and the villages, and kept only those whose own websites give their dates, hours or prices for this season. We left out Lodge Farm on Bilton Lane, Long Lawford, which advertised trees in 2020 but has no website or 2026 listing we could find; a “Cawston Christmas Trees” named in an older roundup, which we could not trace; and Evergreen Trees at Mobbs Wood Farm, Ansty, for the same reason. If any of them confirm their 2026 dates, we will add them.
