Seven Christmas Day menus around Rugby at pubs and hotels, from £59.99 to £175, with children's rates, deposits and payment deadlines. Checked November 2026.

For Christmas Day around Rugby, the lowest published prices are at the Bear in Long Lawford (£59.99) and two big family pubs, the Steam Turbine and the Waterside (£64.99 each). The Dun Cow in Dunchurch charges £94.95, and the two country house hotels, Brownsover Hall and Ansty Hall, £120 and £175. Every entry was checked against the venue’s own site on 1 November 2026.

We have not eaten at any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry gives the price on the venue’s own 2026 Christmas menu, what it includes, and what the venue says about deposits and paying, plus the Food Standards Agency (FSA) hygiene rating. Every venue on this list is rated 5. Watch the payment dates: Brownsover Hall wants the full bill six weeks ahead, which falls in mid-November.

How we chose

These are the places people search for when booking Christmas dinner around Rugby, chosen on the public record rather than on taste: a 2026 Christmas menu with prices published on the venue’s own site, and the Food Standards Agency hygiene rating (every venue here is rated 5). We left out places we could not check on 1 November 2026: Coombe Abbey lists festive lunches with Santa (£65 or £70 a head) but no Christmas Day lunch; La Dolce Tavola’s Christmas page still shows its 2025 menus; and the Huntsman Carvery in Dunchurch and the Seven Stars in Rugby show no Christmas menu on their sites. Prices are as published on 1 November 2026, and Christmas menus usually need a deposit and a pre-order, so check the terms when you book.
